I don't know much about Clair yet, but do know that he is a recognized
Seattle artist, as well as an experienced Kinetic Sculpture racer.
He writes:
"I will keep abreast of your project and perhaps participate in some
leg of the adventure with my All Terrain Art Racer. It is pure pedal,
all surface. Attached is a photo of Twin
Screw. The event is the annual Port Townsend KSR last
October. Land speed 15 mph tops and water 6 knots, neither
sustainable for long."
