Brian is an FPGA guru who knows how to make Xilinx parts dance, and he travels most of the year visiting clients.  He is interested in providing air support to the flotilla, a most intriguing concept.

His Riley Super Skyrocket airplane, Ariel, is capable of serving as a survival raft, and has made 4 Atlantic crossings with various adventures enroute in Greenland and Iceland.  She has a range of 1,000 nautical miles, and a cruising speed of 200 knots... and she seats 2-4 depending on configuration.
