The Technomadic Flotilla

June 2008 update:  This page is about to become relevant again... for the moment the old content remains, but just want to let you know that we're back on track with a new boat and ready to start building the community.  The latest news is at the Nomadness blog.

Old stuff:

This is the home page for an ad-hoc flotilla of aquatic adventurers.  The idea here is to "share the nomadness" by welcoming a wide range of boats and participants, forming a community that slowly evolves as people arrive and depart.  This allows us to accommodate just about any experience level or available timing, with some folks continuing for months and others just joining the group for a few days.  We also get together for local kayak trips in the Puget Sound area, but this is primarily to support the 7 Degrees of Freedom expedition as well as other adventures of similar scale down the road.

This is entirely non-commercial, so this site isn't complex or design-heavy.  If anyone in the group wants to contribute pages or  artwork, please contact me!  In particular, the Roster of Flotillians is just a list of pointers to individual pages, and if my crude layouts don't do you or your boat justice, feel free to make your own and either send it or give me the URL.

What follows on this page is an outline of what I hope to see here, with links activated as content is produced.
